Senator Talha Mahmood

Senator Talha Mahmood is Federal Patron of the National Youth Assembly. He is Chairperson of Standing Committee for Cabinet Secretariat, Govt of Pakistan and famous philanthropist of Pakistan. He was elected to the Senate 2006 and reelected for another term. He is currently Parliamentary Leader of JUI-F (Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam Fazal Ur Rehman Group) in Senate of Pakistan. He has contributed to improve the oversight function of the Senate in the capacity of Chairman Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics Control. He has brought up various issue of National Importance and discussed them in the Senate Committee meetings. He is one of the Pakistani Senators who have an extended portfolio of humanitarian efforts and has laid special emphasis on human and social development of Hazara Division in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
